These one day sessions provide three teachers the opportunity to choose lessons that we will help co-teach in the classroom – no coverage necessary! Each powerfully packed day was designed based on our experience with the hundreds of teachers we work with and focuses on developing creative student work based on ADST skills that align with the curricular and core competencies within the BC Curriculum.

Elevate student writing projects with audio recordings. Students will experience the process of creating an audiobook or a podcast from scratch. While they explore the medium they’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and

By building websites using Google Sites, your students will develop valuable skills in research, design, and collaboration. They will also learn to organize information effectively, apply graphic design principles, and receive constructive feedback from their peers.
Grade 4 - 9
Encourage your students to put a creative twist on a character study. Instead of filling out a character sketch worksheet, your students will create a character’s social media presence. In doing so, students will safely explore the impacts of Social Media and practice tennents of digital citizenship and media literacy.
Grades 5 - 9
Turn persuasive writing into engaging video essays. Through the use of images, remixing videos, audio and animation, video essays can be a powerful and effective way to communicate a message. This project challenges students to think critically and creatively as they build communication skills through visual storytelling.
Grades 5 - 9
Students will experience all the steps of the design cycle process, from the beginning stages of brainstorming, to gathering and implementing feedback. This learn-along will walk you and your students through the process of designing and creating a working prototype of an app. Don’t worry, no coding experience will be required for this project!
Grades 3 - 7
Unleash your students’ creativity and incorporate stop-motion animation projects into any lesson. This learn-along encourages creativity, planning, and student collaboration. all while promoting digital literacy skills.
Grades 4 - 7
Your students will follow Applied Design principles to bring a story to life using Scratch! Students will experiment with block coding to create an interactive story. As they create their story, they will ideate, prototype and test their code. share their story with their classmates.
